OT game title.....MOTO GP 3 for PS2...
« on: September 12, 2004, 02:06:22 am »
As a 27 year motorcycle rider.....this is the best damn road racing Cycle game I've ever played....

If you ride...and allways wanted to race ....you'll absolutly LOVE this game...

Lots of famous tracks....

Great bike physics...both in aracde and simulation modes...

The best race bikes pixel money can buy...

Power slides....brake dragging...weight transfer side to side ,and front to rear...

Did I mention wheelies?

GREAT GRAPHICS...actually...I'd have to say EXCEPTIONAL Graphics....from tires picking up dust and having it wear off....to rubber shredding and leaving slide marks....

The leans are smooth and deep and riders dont jerk around...

The replays are INCREDIBLE....your races look like a major TV sports event... from Bike cams , to chase heilcopters, to curb cams...

A multitude of Tracks....and a huge treasure trove of race challenges...from drag racing to trying to keep up with kenny roberts for two laps.....two days...and I still cant hang on simulation!

A breaking tutor and prefered line help alot with the learning curve...when you flip to simulation..it's a whole new game....the first thing you need to learn is to not go to fast....the game is very smooth and you soon learn to tip toe around ciurciuts at racing speeds...in relative control....

The more you rride....the better you get...VERY encourageing for longevity of play...

The game engine gives exceptional visual feed back...the sence of speed is true (having been well over 100MPH on a bike in RL many times)...the bike and rider positions are smooth is all degrees of lean AND slides.....the back rounds are highly detailed with moving vehicles and great vista views in the back rounds...

The tracks.....OMG!..the tracks.....IMHO...as a race fan who has watched many televised forumla 1 Auto AND bike events...these tracks MUST have been modeled from digital video....from the baricades to the buildings and EVEN the frickin trees....Acurate grading must have been plotted by GPS because every grade...off campher turns...fading raduis corners...it just goes on and on....once you LEARN these tracks....you can really cook some serious lap times...

An anolog with feedback controler is a MUST...you can actually "feel" when you are getting rear wheel spin....and it feels different than just hitting a curb....awesome...

This game just made my christmas list...and is the best racing/driving "feel" and handling I've stumbled upon since 'Need for speed 3: hot pursuit' for PS came out...

Left many a smokey in the dust with my Lamborgini...in the rain...at night...with heavy traffic.....yeah man...that is a rush...
