No kidding! This has the posibility to be the movie that superhero fans have been dreaming about- no big merchandising, no stupid desire for franchise... just a kick-ass movie about the comics we loved as kids.

Looks damn solid from the previews- and so do most of the super-heroines... ;)

The first Batman was OK, but after that things fell off fast in the sequels. An Indie Batman movie that did Batman like the old 1940's comics (where a pair of .45 ACP's were standard equipment on his utility belt) would be great.

Batman is supposed to be a lot more vicious and 'down and dirty' than the movies make him out to be.

That's Very True. I an recall having seen an Old Live action Series of Batman, in Black and White. It looked like It predated Adam West also by a few Decades. Pretty good though all things considered.

BTW, in the Grayson Film, I love how they Aged Supes. That was a very cool effect.

Yeah, the 50'ish Superman is cool as hell! And Wonder Woman looking all 20+ years younger than him... he's gotta be Superman to keep one that young happy at his age! ;)

If you do come up with anything further on that old Batman series, please let me know. I'd love to look into it!
