Topic: anyone have background info on this ship

Being new to all this i dont have the knowlege of where to go for background info on this ship that i am working on (about 20% complete) so if anyone knows about this ship, its story, armorment, ect.. let me know

SS Conestoga is a Colony Ship thus would make a good large Freighter in the game minmum shielding and very little weapontry.

The SS Conestoga is/was a one-of-a-kind modular colony ship and was seen in the Enterprise Season 1 ep. "Terra Nova".  It was launched in 2067 under Captain Mitchell, 4 years after Zephram Cochranes flight in the Phoenix.  It journeyed from Earth to the first non-Sol System colony called "Terra Nova", ~20l/y from Earth, arriving there in 2078.  It's average speed was W/f 1.3.  This is all canon (yes, canon has only 1 'n') and this info was extrapolated from the aforementioned episode.

Off the record, it would also be safe to say it has ZERO weapons and ZERO shielding (hell, even Enterprise has no "traditional" sheilding ~80 years later) because other than the Vulcans, Earth had no other outside contact with alien races at that time, much less the need for weapons on Earths first extra-solar colony ship.

here is what i have completed so far on the model
