Whoops!  I fell asleep last night.   

Anyway, I had serious trouble getting conntected to the access server this morning for a long time.  Then suddenly it worked.  I'm not sure what I did to fix it.  (or maybe the access server was jsut down.  I didn't think of that until just now; I simply assumed I must have been doing something wrong.)

I've still got a few bugs with the shipyards and the mission matching.  I don't want to put up the download until this is resolved.  (Might have to make a few tweaks on the shiplist.)  I'm off to two hours of pre-marital counseling, but I hope this won't take too long to finalize when I return.  Starting tonight is still the plan.

Hmph!!  Tht's not funny.

Anyway, sorry to keep you guys waiting.  I'll get this started as soon as I can.  Obviously, I'm not going to meet my goal of 6PM.  The motherboard crash and the house painting this week took too much time.  However, I'll work as fast as I am able.

When it's all set to go tonight, I'll try to give an hour's warning here on the forums before actually kicking it off.

Expect at least one patch.  (Hopefull that will be all.)  I've realized I never got around to editing the strings file, so a lot of your ships will have ??? in place of names.  Since that isn't a gameplay issue I'm not going to put off starting tonight to fix that.  Tomorrow I'll probably put out the patch to turn the ???'s into proper names.  At that point, you can download it or not depending upon your preferences.  You won't need it to play, it will just make things prettier.
