New info on ENT's Vulcan Civil War arc
« on: September 04, 2004, 12:07:49 pm »
From Trek Today

Some of it sounds like typos that'll get corrected later, like calling it a "Federation" embassy.  But, there are other parts that do tie nicely to other parts of continuity.  Coincidentally enough, last night's Trek two-parter on Spike TV was the TNG duology "Gambit," where we first heard of the V'Shar, referred to here in this ENT episode.  Also, in the second part towards the end, Talera mentioned that the monastery they beamed down to was used by a faction "in the last civil war."  She probably meant this one.   ;D

It does sound Interesting. I also like the idea of 3 episode Mini arcs.

I figured these civil wars was from before or around the days of Surak, not during the 22nd Century.  But it'll be nice to see something like this on Akiraprise.

It's actually a second one.  According to what's been leaked, there's a faction on Vulcan going around saying that they have strayed from the ways of Surak.  The Sundering of the Romulans is different than this.
