Things still look good for a weekend start.  Look for an announcement "soon".  Hoping to start Saturday.

Let me ask you this Question Scippy, does your new home need that special Leigh's house look to it?

Ok Agave, I'm in now, how many rolls of toilet paper will we need for decoration?

No, it does NOT!!  Especially not if you bring Dave.  I don't need any of that in my driveway.  Dr. Nyet wouldn't understand.

Besides, there is going to be one male on the bride's side of the wedding party, and it's up to me to decide which of you groomsmen get to walk down the ailse with him!  So you and Agave had better be on your best behaviour.  ;)

Ummm..... btw can you give us a date on the wedding?  Better not be Nov 7th..... >:(  Didn't know you would be needing Groomsmen....eeeekkkk.

As for an appropriate escort for the male on the bride side, I think you've become good enough buddies with J'inn to assign him that special honor.  Just think of all the post that could result from that one.

Real question is KCW or Squadron Commander going first?

It's tight, but I don't think there is going to be a problem.

I'd had my eye on this timeslot for a while.  When I started advertising Squadron Commander I really had no idea that KCW would want to follow so quickly on the heels of GW3.  I can't really delay because my window of opportunity is so short.  It might be January or February before I can try to host one again, and then I'm likely to have enough time that I'd want to do a "full" campaign like EcoWar or (with divine providence) Birth of Empire.

Still, with my desire to start a short campaign this weekend, and Hooch's announced goal of Sept 22, I don't think there will be much conflict.

What do you think, Hooch?

EVE... thats that game that only works online right? No single player... oh, and you can only play online if you PAY... right?? And you have to KEEP paying to play... right??

This wouldnt happen to be a Microsoft game, would it?? How do I know if I want to buy it if I cant even play it in single player. I dont care how good the graphics or gameplay are, the marketting for this game is atrocious and reaks of capitalism. When you buy this game, you arent really buying anything at all. You are buying 'time' on a server, a very limited amount of time at that as well. In 10 years time you'll still be able to pull out SFC2 and play it... you wont be able to do that with EVE.

Lets just say IF in 10 years SFC:OP is compatible with the current version of Windows, you will be able to pull it out and play it. How big is that IF?

Not sure I can be bothered, but as you are the Doc, can you run an AI standard patrol in 2 minutes in a KRC? If so, there is no problem and I am utterly wrong. If you cannot, then the KRC is a worse ship for AI missions than ones I know can.

Texas, i'm estimating.

Still, there's always emulators, MoSlow and other technological wonders to get the technological wonders of yesteryear (or -day, at this rate) working.

Oz is only Oz to those that live outside of its walls.

Besides, seems to be that the big guns win on eve. If that's so, then you win cuz ur a nutter. Try that on SFC and I'll kick ur hairy butt.
