No doubt you all have seen a few of these but since i am a huge Robotech/Macross fan i just had to do one.
10 hours and 6300+ polys this is my version i hope you all enjoy

LOL now thats a name i haven't heard in a long time i almost forgot the the transformer "Jetfire" (the toy) is acually a veritech fighter. I acually have one in the closet somewhere saddly missing the extra armor and guns tho

would you like it "as is" MP? I havent done any textures for her yet (I still suck at making textures) and i noticed the the lasers on the head are faceing the wrong way and a few other errors that need corrected.

I can't map,so as it is now,I can't do anything with it.If you throw some scrap textures on it I can work it from there for you.

MP i might be able to do that i have aquired a little help in teaching me some textureing so i might be able to do some base textures on my veritech. the question is wich color scheme do you want.

well i hate to say this but this model sucks LOL was working on throwing some textures on and noticed so many errors that i decided to recreate it from scratch using some pics as references instead if trying to do it from memory only like i did this one give me a few days and i will post the new model. if you still want to try making textures for this one MP let me know and i will send what i have to you or you can wait till i get the new version completed it will be alot more detailed tan this one

did some heavy poly pushing for the new version it appears this will be quite time consuming took me about 5 hours just to get this thruser pack the way i wanted it and the poly count for it is (you may want to sit down for this one .... oh! you are sitting.. LOL) 1881 polygons. i will try to optimize it and see it i can shave about a 1/3 of those off. i think im going to shoot for the 7000 to 7500 poly mark on this baby.

that one looke cool Mani i have got a little more done on this but im not really happy with it so its kind of on the back burner for now while i work on other projects but i am hopefull that i will have the mesh completed by or around christmas

dont worry im not giving up on it i have to much time involved in this project to abandon it now just havent had much time to do any modeling but i have most of this week off and another week for christmas so i will probably be able to finish up a few projects .

on a side note Mani is the anime chara in your sig your own? she looks great i also noticed the one as your background when you did that tutorial as a huge anime junkie myself i apreciate that sort of thing LOL
