In a bold espionage scheme, the Orion Pirates were able to steal this prototype from the Gorn Confederation. Operatives were placed inside the shipyard where it was manufactured.
The Gorn had no idea the plans for this ship had leaked. They had tried to make the shipyard look un-important by not using a large contingent of escort ships. The operatives managed to pilot it away with the help
of a trio of cloaked Nihydron vessels. The Gorn have placed a bounty on the pirates that stole this ship.

Class: Advanced Destroyer (DD)

News Update: This just in. An anynomous Orion government  official denies any involvement in this incident. He suggested that the Gorn are using the Orions as a scapegoat and stated that the Nihydrons acted alone in this matter.

Vladimeer Costouff (Orion presidential spokesman) Warned the Gorn Confederation, saying,"The Gorn must not use this incident as an excuse to enter the Orion Colonies restricted space. Any attempt to do so would be seen as an act of aggression. All Orion vessels will be protected by local militia fleets."

...Thats right Jecherenn we have just heard what sounded like a very large crashing sound, followed by what sounded like low level disruptor fire followed by what I can only descibe as humanoids srceaming.  As I had stated earlier I am now outside the Gorn Confederation Great Hall of Discussion, where the Orion Cartel Reperesentatives sent on direct order of Orion Prime Cartel President, Keevas Fulak...Wait the Great Hall doors are opening!

Camera goes from reportere to two very large, very ornate copper colored doors.  Out comes wisps or blue-grey smoke and three silohettes of four very large, very muscular Gorns in armor come forward.  Green blood is dripping from their mouths and in each one is carrying the very bloody and very dead body of an Orion.   Biggest Gorn looks left, then right faces forward and begins walking toward FNN reporter who wretches blue stuff on the ground, someone else screams, because he is carrying the half eaten head of an Orion representative.
Gorn then begins to speak in Gorn which sounds like hissing and rasps.

on video is "UNIVERSAL TRANSLATOR FAILURE."...."FAILURE CORRECTED"

Gorn Rep:  ...Thisss issss the prisssse of Orion treachery! (holds up half a head).
We will not ssstop until we either have back our rightful property or our belliesss are full of the flessh of Orionssss!!!!

It was "well-constructed".   A little gross, though.

I guess I no longer have the stomach for even green blood of Orions or even Romulans, like was seen in, what, Insurrection?

When I was a kid, I LOVED "Alien".  But as the years went on, I couldn't watch that kind of movie anymore, so I only saw parts and snippets of the later Aliens movies... on DVD at someone's house, where I could just get up and go to the kitchen or bathroom or go do something else!

I even winced when Darth Vader cut off Luke Skywalker's hand.

I know you meant it in fun, and the story flowed well, but in this case, I could do with a little less fine detail in the imagery.

I agree about the gore at the end. Though I took it it fun. If you redo the ending bit so its suitable for kiddies I'd like to add it to the mod somewhere. Either as a story board or maybe in the VL for the ship-which is called the Serpenticon.  GREAT STORY-

thanks for the feedback.  i forgot that some of the members here are actually kids.  my mistake and my apologies.  i will endeavour for a strictly PG rating.
i have to say though i am surprised that someone said something to me about the violence.  not that i am complaining but it has shown me how callous i have become to gratutious violence in literature and movies.
well gotta get back to reworking the news.
