The windows in front are the lounge for diplomatic courier missions. The quarters for the crew and diplomats are quite luxurious.
This ship is less a combattant and more a high speed quick responce diplomacy ship.
I have another version in the works with extra sensor package in place of the crew lounge.... A spy version...
Hence the class name "U.S.S. BOND"

When Lord Schtupp says "Nice detailing" it means a little more, don't you think?

And for what I think...Ya, what he said.

Mind if I ask how large the ship is, I mean in relation to the known size of a ship from the same time period.
The pen is truly mightier than the sword.  And considerably easier to write with.

Good effort but it looks kinda like a little baby Ulysses Dreadnought with the dual dorsal supports.  I have used in games an Oberth class or the Iwo Jima class as a courier or infiltrator.

Listings that I use are>>>
FOC:  Fed Oberth Cruiser.  Just like the Grissom, a dedicated science ship.  These I have named in honor of the Mercury and Apollo astronauts.
FOCC:  Fed Oberth Cruiser, Courier (faster speed jump, less weaponry, little in the way of labs, tractors or transporters and low shield output)  This not a ship you would want to go into battle on but if you absolutely, positively have to have it overnight.  Names I have used are those of famous in the field of journalism.  i.e Pulitzer, Koppel, Howard K.Smith, Reasoner, Rooney and my fave Walter Cronkite.
FOC-C:  Fed Oberth Cruiser-Commando.  54 leathernecks on a one way trip.

FIW:  Fed Iwo Jima Class.  Mine are geared toward big contingent(over 60) and low offense high defense.  I named them after Bataan Death March survivors and victims.

But gotta say you got style.

It looks okay but I have one question for the ship...

How in the heck do you get down from the primary hull to the secondary hull?  The two "necks" just seem too thin for a turbolift... *shrug* It just looks very, very small.  I'm a fan of Bernd Schneider's Ex-Astris Scientia website and I reference it many times for questions I have.  Well, when I decided to look at this ship logically, the necks seemed too short, and I wonder how big the Phaser banks would be; how much space it would take up.  Well, my main gripe is the neck, as it just seems too small.  That is, unless I'm looking at it the wrong way (as to how big the bridge actually is, compared with an ordinary man.  This is an article of the Oberth-class Starship's size, and how the canonical length might be too small.  I was reminded of this when I began to ponder the ship's design...

Don't take it as large criticism... The ship is fine, I kind-of like it.  I just wonder how in the heck people can run a ship with small "necks."  Now I'll just be quiet before people wonder if I'm only here to argue. lol

In any case, it doesen't look too bad if you just think of its looks for a small ship such as that.  I might go ahead and use it for my SFC purposes.

How in the heck do you get down from the primary hull to the secondary hull?  The two "necks" just seem too thin for a turbolift...

The secondary hull is not used for crew. It is a completely automated engineering hull with extra sensor equipment and warp generator and Navy. deflector.

The struts house power and data connections and a small Jeffries tube in each to access the critical systems. the primary hull has three decks. total of 70 feet tall and about 200 feet long.... (Primary hull only) crew of 12 passengers of up to 10 really a small ship.total length of about 500 feet. total height of about 160 feet.
