and I liked the "russian-esq" warp nacelles on the Rom that you did in the other thread
those would be great for Pre-TOS Romulans

Thanks for the encoragement guys it is much needed and appreciated. I agree i am starting to get alot better at modeling but i still cannot do textures to save my life. (anyone care to do some texturing for me?)

I did a little redesigning of that romulan again just messing around

some new stuff in the works from me
on the first i used the stock taldren sovy naccelles and have P81's torp launcher from his miranda class ship, the hulls are extreamly modified WickedZombie's Titan hull (if its OK with WZ to continue to use that is)

Time for an update on my idea for the Phobos NG style i changed the hull design to use the keeled hull that i designed for the chariot class a while back i still kept the stock Taldren(SFC3) warp nacelles and P81's torp launcher (But i am thinking of replacing with one intigrated with the saucer section). Please let me know what i should change or modify.

Thanks for the good words Azel for someone just starting out they are much needed. Teaching your self MAX is not easy and can get down right discouraging but i think im really getting the hang of it now.

as for the ship i just posted i took a closer look at the hull and fount so many bad spots on it i think im going to recreate them from scratch. Which would you thenk is better a traditional style hull or the modified chariot style hul. both look good to me i also have in the works one with a Sovvy Saucer section but i am not as happy with that one.

did a few changes to my PhobosX replaced the twin hulls with new ones that i am finally happy with, added alot of detail, changed the command section of the saucer, and intgrated the torp launcher into the bottom.

well i did a little work on the PhobosX this weekend and got about 80% complete with the Titan textures (I beleive they are WZ's textures if so may i use them on the final they ended up working so well.) i will have pics soon as i get the hulls textured so check back here soon.

if you all remember this thread http://www.dynaverse.net/forum/index.php/topic,163347029.0.html i decided to tackle this one as it is a great looking ship here is what i came up with using P81's Miranda nacelles and i threw on the textures till i make new ones. Tell me what you guys think i need to change or modify

made some more progress or shall i say found new inspiration for the Fury lookinf through the ship i have on file i found one that suited my needs very nicely and i wish to thank P81 for his Kiev model that i used as the foundation for the rebuild i did of the USS Fury i was finally able to get the extended hull the way i wanted it and the naccells were the perfect size as was the torp launcher. she topped out at 2601 polys she just needs a new set of clothes.

here is a quick kitbash of a ship i was asked to develop by F_W its a miranda style akira and is built with stock taldren ships i think there was no readme files with these ships. if you recognise these peices as part of your ship please let me know and i will credit you. looks decent but there seems to be something missing i just cant put my finger on it "Hmmmm"

Try angleing the narcelle pylons in line with arch of the weapons pod. IMHO I think it might look sleeker.

Wow thanks Miles, actually I have a pic of it. I'll post it when I get home from work. As for the Pylons...... what I meant was angle them like this / \ they should present in an inverted V and as F_W said then match up with the weapon roll bar.

That is some AWESOME work!!! I absolutely love it, and I'm not generally a fan of late-TNG work. The ship just seems to fit the design progerssion, and it is very well done!

Now that's a good birthday !!!! It's a cool lil ship but in all honesty it looks nothing like the Chandley. I HAD a pick of the TNG chandley but I forgot what I did with it

The good news is I did get it to Darth Chandley a while back so I will eventually / hopefully get it. As for this dawg here I'm thinking........Viper Class USS Copperhead Light Torp cruiser for the you know what MOD

From the front on view it looks like the narcelle pylons are too long. Try shortening them up.

The Sojurn saucer is finished. As it'll need are the registries and lifepods as they should be different (obviously) then the last ship. And any detail work that we may find it needs.
