I took the time to make a well prepared, viable, and bullet proof argument to counter the post that recently popped up against macs:

DM's Home Mac G4 (running ~ 3hrs/day for over 2 years with cable modem)

Number of Virus infections: 0
Number of Spyware infections: 0
Number of browser hijacks: 0
Number of Worms or trojans: 0
Number of kernal panics (equivalent to PC "Blue Screen"): 0

Number of hours spent worrying about or configuring to combat virus/net attacks: ~ 0.04
