Even More Birds? UPDATE-D/L links

At the behest of Klingon Fanatic I have been looking into getting  textures  on to Thulls Sparrowhawk to match the
Firehawk and the Imperium Killerhawk. I decided on simple texture replacement as a starting point to see how this would look on a few of the ships.

 ;D The Romulan fleet keeps getting a badly needed injection of variant ships!

That Sparrowhawk and Condor are wonderful. The Condor is an awesome BONUS.

The Sparrowhawk retexture project seemed to be headed the way of the Melak warbird... nobody who attempted it that "I" know of ever was able to complete the Ganymad style retexture.

EDIT: Nice work on the Saber Hawk too!

It looks like you resolved that issue very nicely.

Gents, I think Terradyne has a point:

To start with, the colors have too much brown in them for a Romulan to me.

And somehow, that influencing the rest of the textures' design seems to make it less fitting for such a fine mesh.  In the end, it's an aesthetic call... and remember, Terradyne, too, is an artist... not to say the rest of us have no taste.  It's just that mine seem to agree with his this time.

(I have artists [one professional] in the family... do I count??)

Let us not forget the STAR TREK Vulcan IDIC [infinite diversity in infinite combinations] concept.

Besides, the Romulans, in FASA TMP Trek anyway, had different squadrons of similar ships [i.e. V-11 Stormbirds] with different markings. These variants should be treated no differently.

I'm sure Terradyhne will come up with some excellent markings on his Romulan V-20 and hopefully [crosses fingers] a Romulanized D-18 Refit when he finally completes and releases them.

Now, QobnuH where are those release links?

We are each the masters of our own SFC universe...don't like em,don't use em. I sure have a lot of ships that I have re-done because I like the mesh but hate the textures. TMP Roms are all speculation anyway...I've never seen any in Trek.
They look great in game and I think a far better texturing for roms than many I have seen on this forum. Atra's Stormbird is another great one I would consider but I was looking for some continuity with the recent Killerhawk release.
Besides I saw nothing wrong with Thu11s textures...just wanted an altenative.

As far as releases...I sent an E-mail to Thu11s to make sure this met his approval...pending....

As far as too brown(?),paint it any color you like for your own universe.....enjoy.

Awesome! I know I'll have a nearly uniform TMP Romulan fleet to play with now!

 ;D Korah's Cormorant retexture would make a welcome addition to the Romulan fleet. I don't think he'll have any problems with this version you did.

KF ,I'm not real familiar with this ship. I think I may have DL'ed it before but wasn't happy it. Gave it quick make-over to fit with the rest.Fixed a couple of weird things on the mesh.This is Moonraker's ship converted from KA,is that right? Do you have a  readme file for it?  Nice to see the pft done...I was considering that one myself. This is turning into quite a fleet.
