invalid page fault in mss32.dll won't go away...
« on: August 23, 2004, 11:05:49 pm »
Only happens in SFCOP, nothing else. I can actually get into the game just after I first install it (and before applying the enhancement pack), to put the CD Key in, but after that (even if I DON'T apply the enhancement pack), it crashes.

So much for getting into GW3. Anyone have any ideas?

(Yes, I've updated my drivers; I've uninstalled and reinstalled them - hell, I reinstalled Win98SE even). And WinXP isn't an option - no more $$$ for them.

both 9.0b and 9.0c - no change with either, and I used the DirectX Eradicator to clean things up in between...

thats a windows DLL right? Find a copy on the windows CD, delete the one on ur HD, and copy the one from the CD...That might fix it.

Nope - mss32.dll is installed by SFCOP - it's not an MS Win dll, it's an SFCOP dll.

And NO other program I have has this problem - only SFCOP...
