How did you pick your Avatar?
« on: August 23, 2004, 09:50:42 pm »
While I know Alien's has been around for a while (thanks!!!)...

I picked mine when I got a Tyler Mountain Banjo...I've been playing guitar since 67, I was 12...got a mandolin in 02, and recently got the banjo....it is fun to learn new things...and those that play these instruments know they are not all tuned the same, played the same, and the mindset can be totally different..

but how did you decide on your avatar???

Made mine myself. The planet with the sword through it is from Star Trek TOS episode "Mirror, Mirror". The "battle flag of the Army of Northern Virginia" is because Im a Southron. The "stars" in the flag are actually Starfleet Communicators.

 ;D You're welcome!  LOL

I picked mine because it's one of a few pictures of me that I really liked!  OK there are pictures out there that show me doing really nice things to Ferret's body but I'd be banned in a heartbeat . . .

Besides it's the same picture that's in www.xenocorp.net's roster and I haven't changed the quote!  It still says "Ohhh please can I spank the Ferret?"
Aloha,

The guy in my avatar is Corran Horn, a Jedi in the star Wars extended universe. If I had to pick a role model, he'd be it. Thats why.

Its from the cover of I,Jedi if anyone was wondering.

I'm a Farscape fan, hence the Avatar.  I found it on the savefarscape site, but this Avatar is cool on its own merits.

Stephen, I'm not much of a fan of the YingYang and all that it represents, but I gotta say your avatar is WAY COOL.

I picked mine 'cause I was getting tired of the caffeine molecule, and had recently seen a few episodes of Samurai Jack and decided I liked it.
