Rome Total War demo out!

Think it's only available on Fileplanet at the moment, (DLing it now but waiting in line  :(), so don't know what it's like yet, but it features a tutorial if you've never played a Total War game yet and 1 battle which is Hannibal vs the Romans at the Battle of Trebia in the winter of 218 BCE. There's Elephants too...   :o ;D
All truth passes through three stages: First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being obvious.

I'm on dial up >:(
So I will have to wait for the next edition of PC Gamer UK. It's great becase the Total War series are developed by a UK team.
God said to the Welsh: 'I am going to give you this glorious land of lakes and mountains.' So where's the catch, asked the Welsh? 'Wait until you see the neighbours,' replied God.

Wow!!! The graphics are incredible!  :o They look a bit better than the TV program that featured this engine but the animation is so much smoother, when cavalary charges infantry you don't sense that your unit is a big wall with invisible barriers around the individual troops, the cavarly charges in and scatters them all as you would expect. Can't really explain it well but download it if you can as it blew me away!
