I have tons of ships and i think it will take too long to make damage textures for each bmp file for each model, plus i dont get it anyways, point is, is there anyway to have a set of texture, damage ones that is for all models to use like in sfc2op, yup this is for sfc3 btw, or is there a standard one i could use or something

Yup, check out some of the SFC2:OP models around, and you'll see some models having a "damage1.bmp" and "damage1i.bmp" file that's an all over flamey thing.  I see it a lot with p81's stuff.  No reason why that can't be used like a "hull1D.bmp" etc.. just mention p81/Knox1711 in the credit file as getting the damage texture from their (insert name here) archive.  :)

for each model, nothing more general like sfc2 was

Exactly.. it's the way that SFC 3 is.  Specific damage textures for each texture so that you could create custom damage.
