My Game, My Music: How To?
« on: August 20, 2004, 04:31:47 pm »
Hey Guys,

Everyone and their mom knows what music REALLY should have gone into SFC III, and if they could make a sound MOD, they could subject the rest of us to their ecclectic taste.

I just want to alter the music in my game for when I'm playing by myself in SP.

Does anyone know how I can go about doing this, or point me in the right direction?

Cheers,

Please tell me this isn't another Pink Floyd thread.  ;D ;D ;D ;D
Seriously, Id ask Chris Jones or Nannerslug. They seem to know about this alot, and have been Willing to help the community with Things.

Hmm its in a zip file... either sfcmusic.zip or sfcsound.zip or something along those lines... go with the bigger files... and play those... it's basically a trial and error kinda thing.

I tried messing with the "taunts" once.

I saw they were in mp3 format, and put my own file in there.

When the game ran, the taunt didn't work.  All I got was silence.

I'll try WT if I can get a hold of him (not as easy as one might think).

I'd try Nannerslug if anyone knows how to get a hold of the guy.

Same with Chris Jones, who's an incredibly helpful guy.

I'll get there sooner or later.

Cheers,

Aha!

Now we're struck Dilithium Captain!

Creative Playcentre?  I've heard that bandied about once before.

Can anyone give me some more details?

Cheers.
