OK so I ended up ordering both scenario 1 & 2 books along with Module J on fighters and Module K on fast patrol ships.

Stuff looked cool with good info so I couldn't resist.

Also bid on Module J2 Advanced fighters on Ebay...LOL.  Hopefully this new found interest doesn't get out of control.   

Well you picked some of my favorite modules in J, K, and J2, but be forwarned, I started out the same way a year and a half ago. I ended up spending almost $1,300 buying all the rest plus a sh*t load of mini's. Haven't actually played SFB since about 1981 though.

Just limit yourself to never buy more than $100 worth at a time. And it's not like there are new modules out every month. You don't have to get any of the Omega or training stuff and maybe not even the X-Ships or early era rules either.

I got into the Commander's edition in '88 (I was 14).  I have stayed up to date ever since, but I haven't played a game since '92

I've never played SFB, I am just interested in ship and fighter info along with the General War and any other major/minor skirmishes or conflicts.
