i have see the first episode and the 6th of enterprise and one thing is wrong, first the Klingon, for what i understand from picard in i think was the movie insurrection is that he says about the Klingon was the first contact was the landed on the Klingon home world and made a first contact, that's why there seem to be in was against the Klingon, so why do the show us Klingon in the first episode of enterprise, also i think these human are very emotional, aggressive and paranoid, the seem to have change since kirk, also when the commission the Enterprise the show a video of Dr Cochran, but where is the black woman that defend the phoenix in the movie first contact?, she did help Him building the phoenix, she's younger that Dr Cochran so where is she? retired or dead or bored?

Just assume that Enterprise is in a parrallel universe.  Berman and Braga seem to ignore anything Trek that they did not create.   Watched as an independent show inspired by Star Trek makes it much more enjoyable.

Though in series 4 there is going to be a solid attempt at bringing it back within the fold. They have manny coto as showrunner and they've brought in the authors who wrote Preservers and other Kirk books. So I think the show could really pick up this year.

I saw that it was being moved to friday nights...
In the past that seems to be the grave yard for show on UPN, and I find myself wondering if Enterprise is on it's last leg.

How 'bout you give the writers some creative licsense....anything can be changed back in a story....I can see it now.  "The crew have been alseep all this time, in a catonic state dreaming all of this....blah blah blah..."  I think they have realized that they messed up on the first couple of years...but I see a bright future.  Now that Trekkies were threated with losing their Star Trek fix, they will start to watch it again.  ***fingers Crossed***

I searched through Insurection and didn't find anything.  I did find this from the episode "First Contact".

Centuries ago, a disastrous first contact with the Klingon Empire led to decades of war.

The episode takes place in the mid to late 2360's (let's say 2367 so I don't have to check it up).  Centuries (plural) would imply at least 200 years, so that would be 2167.  If you consider how general the term "centuries" can mean, it could easily be 216 years, putting First Contact with the Klingon Empire at 2151.

That's sorta the point.  Humanity is "less evolved" at this point.  They had a devistating war 100 years ago, and still have 100 years to reach the maturity of Kirk, and another 100 until Picard shows up.  They have little knowledge of what's outside of their solar system, aside from what the Vulcans tell them, and what they encountered with trading ships and colonies.  But they have the same eagerness to see what's out there as the later generations would have, and they are finally going to take a look for themselves.

She probably isn't as famous, the equivalent of Michael Collins on the Apollo 11 trip.  I wouldn't be suprised if she helped originally with the warp 5 project, but it isn't as exciting for her to give a speach as it is to hear a spech from the Father of Warp Drive.

in episode 5 of the first season i have see a Klingon battle cruiser, the didn't say if it was a D5 or a D6 but still the Klingon have the same design for a 2 to 300 years, i find it hard to believe, everyone have change in the design of there ship.

They wanted to use a different ship

But they ran out of time before they could complete it.  I can't blame them for not having time, but I'm not happy about the ship.  Not only does it stretch credibility that Klingon Battlecruisers would have existed for so long, they reused a model from a Voyager episode, that makes it look more advanced than the D7s used in TOS and Trials and Tribble-ations.

Later, in the second half of season 2, they set things right and showed a Klingon ship known as a "D5", which was mentioned as an out of date vessel in DS9's episode "Once More Unto the Breach"
