just got a new machine and a router (so i can use both of my copies of OP) and need to find out what incomeing ports go with which outgoing ports so i can set up my port triggering to let OP play on dyna and gsa
OBTW it is a linksys router model NR041
read the manual and it showed me how to do the deed - i just cant seem to find the outgoing to incomeing relationship for the various services that the dyna and gsa work - i will prolly have gsa up shortly checking there for what ports it uses
I believe that you need 2 ip addresses to play op on 2 computers in the same house....
If you have 2 live IP addresses, then you need a router that will actually let you truly disable NAT. Most consumer level routers do not allow you to completely disable NAT. I recently tried to disable nat on a Linksys and although it had a checkbox to disable NAT, the documentation daid it could not be done and when I used the checkbox, it messed up my outgoing TCP/IP packets. Makbe they will fix this in the firmware updates....
