These textures actually make it look much better. I never liked the featureless TNG Romulan ships. Would've loved to see a bit more color on the D'Deridex on TNG instead of a flat green.

Great job on the model, but boy I love that Romulan bird symbol on your shipyard page. All the symbols are pretty good, but the Romulan is best by far.

looks good but with this grey/green it looks more Klingon than Romulan and i think the Melak design is more an Ent-C era ship design than a TMP design
