Harlan Ellison

Is anyone a Harlan Ellison fan?  I think I read a book of his stories many, many years ago but don't remember the title.  If someone could suggest a good book or two to get a sampling of his stories I would appreciate it.

Heck yeah Sraek. Do a search for Outer Limits r demon with a Glass hand here. It will bring up a conversation we had about him a few weeks ago.

Add to his work on Star Trek and B5, The man's a Writers Legend.

Thanks Stephen.  Amazon had a book titled The Essential Harlan Ellison, or something similar, but it was $35 and a little more that I wanted.  I'll check out the website.  Is the Demon with a Glass Hand a book or story?

You might want to try The City on the Edge of Forever. Ellison has been saying that Roddenberry butched his script and turned McCoy into a drug addict. It has the original script so you can compare for yourself.

The original script was amazing! I wish they could do a re-make of "City On The Edge" using the original script. Even with different actors it would still be cool.

IMHO, a good review of this whole "battle" appears here:
