Topic: More Texture tweaking by KF OR GotAFarmYet? where are you?

First up is my attempt to tinker with Ganymad's THOLIAN WEB style Hellbore texture. For laughs I tried to replace the PLASMA SNARE textures with Ganymad's THOLIAN WEB style Hellbore texture. the web wobbles in an out of veiw as it reaches the target due to rotation. Here's the best pic I got in game:

Next up is the Araxes retextured using GotAFarmYet?'s FDN Excalibur textures.

Personally, I prefer my destroyers to be smaller than my cruisers but this is an X-era ship I suppose...

So I modified ONLY the D2 Araxes nacelle strut texture so it would match GotAFarmYet?'s FDN Excalibur textures when dropped into any of his Excalibur variants. I tried retexturing the P81 Odysseus and variants in this manner but had no luck. Maybe somebody else can tackle that fleet at a later date.

Still haven't installed PaintShop Pro yet, or Milkshape. Should be back up and running next week or so. I actually have a start on the P81 Odysseus, all that is left is the engines. The ship has been that way for months because I don't know how to finish them. They are large and bulky which makes them tough to do, well that an a lack of time.
