Why doesn't the paws raids button work for mirak?

Having recently flown mirak/kzin in gw1 and again looking at their ships, why doesn't the pause raids button actually pause the raids? It will visually toggle bewteen pause and start runs, but in the pause mode, my marines will still beam over and expose a down shield for the enemy to exploit. This makes pre- planning a raid useless as I can't prevent the game from beaming them out if anything is selected to be hit. I have been through a few clean installs in the past few months, yet the fault continues. Any thoughts out there?

When you click on your icon at the upper left to capture or Hit & run, the little "!"  icon At the upper right of the BP screen will let you assign BP for H&R raids, but click on it and it will "pause" (changing to a "=" icon) the marines and shouldn't send them until you manually click on the icon again. This lets you have more control over when you send your marines rather then having beam beam over at the first opportunity.
Interesting, I'll test it on Klingon ships to see if it works correctly there.

*edited* tested this and it worked fine for me...

I know it works for most races, so I was wondering if only the mirak are saddled with this bug, which I guess there will be no fix for it.

Because the Klingons are the only coalition member on GW3, and they don't have paws.  If you want to run a raid and steal some paws I'm afraid you'l have to wait for a future server; one that uses Lyrans.

It's a bug for Kzinti / Mirak.  Everyone else (least the one's I've tested) seems to work fine.  As a Kzin / Mirak captain you'll just have to remember to de-select systems to raid if you don't want to expose hull to counterfire.
