A friend of mine is raising money for the 2004 Avon Walk for Breast Cancer.
Project Teddy Bear is part of my fundraising effort to raise $10,000 for the 2004 Avon Walk for Breast Cancer (I'm walking 39 miles in October!). For the past few months I (and some friends!) have been lurking around Broadway and talk show stage doors to get celebrities to sign little tags (they say "Thank you for your donation to The Avon Walk for Breast Cancer") that I'm attaching to stuffed breast cancer awareness bears to auction off. When possible, we also take a picture of the celebrity with the a bear. If there *is* a picture, auction winners will also receive a copy of the picture of their celebrity with a bear.
