Kinda OT. A Community retreat.
« on: August 01, 2004, 07:42:26 pm »
Of course If this should need to be moved, I completely understand.

I was talking to a few Peps here, and we where Discussing a possible Members retreat. Basicly a weekend of Fishing, Canoeing, and Maybe some Climbing, But just amongst us here.

Of course everyone here would be welcome, And I would love to Discuss this Further if It takes hold.

What is your opinion of A weekend Get away? Heck I'd even rent a houseboat If that's what every one would like.

Of course It would have to be Central US of A.

Personally I think It might be alot of fun, Just some Real Getting to know each other, in person, and drawing upon each other to Overcome some wilderness challenges.

Stephen

PS. Kortez wisely advised me to also mention this here.

You know I was thinking about this after getting off the phone with you, Spending a weekend camping out somewere would be fun. I have not done that in a long time. And I still got a fishing pole and my sleeping bag, But not much of anything else I'm afraid. Also I sorta forgot how to clean fish, like I said its been that long. But it would be fun.

Let's see if anyone else Want's to do this.

I'm giving this a bump, as it would be a fabulous idea.

Too bad I'm stuck in the middle of nowhere, on the north eastern edge of this bloody continent!  Not to mention the fact that I have to save a boat load of money.  I'de love to do the camping/fishing thing...I've never actually had the opportunity to do so.

though it does sound interesting and fun, I cannot do anything like that. I have no one to take care of my cats and worst of all, I will be working about 70 hours a week from september to november.

I came, I saw, I came again
