Aint never been a Klink to beat Kirk, ever, period! ;)

Doggie, those same simple humans that write Kirks victories, ALSO INVENTED Klingons. If they didnt need some good whippin' boys for Kirk to beat-up on all the time, you guys wouldnt even BE here, rofl!

If I were a Klink, Id be ALOT madder about the human that decided to make your head look like a nutsack. ;)

As to the Enterprise bit, well, I agree with you on that. Once Kirk got outa the chair, they put in a bunch of Clinton-esqe P.C. Captains who couldnt do crap right. ;)

Anyway...pretty self-serving of the usual suspects to depict Klingons that way, dontcha think?  I've always pictured the TOS Klingons as the Klingons even though there's a lot more TNG Klingon material out there.  Of course, I'm 36 and those were the Klingons I grew up watching.

Im with you, TOS Klinks are REAL Klinks. The sudden, unexplicable change to the TMP Klinks is as baffling as it is unexplained. Roms look the same. Vulcans look the same. Andorians look like DH. Why change Klinks? One of lifes lil mysteries. Errand of Mercy, the Klink that thought he was mowin down hundreds of Organians at a time then sat sipping brandy with Kirk, priceless. I greatly prefer the TOS Klinks. Glad to know that at least one Klink out there does as well. The whole "Worfs Honor" issue was a complete 180 from TOS. The Roms had honor in TOS but lost it in TNG. The Klinks were devious and nasty in TOS/TMP but turned honorable in TNG? WTF?

Heh, no hard feelins there Doggie. Wouldnt be a game without Klinks just as much as it wouldnt without Freds.

Still, come GW3, we got somethin for that azz, mister!  :rollingpin: :rwoot:

Granted...I'm not as familiar with every nook and cranny of male anatomy as you seem to be (maybe you and Kroma ought to set up a date or somethin', eh?) , but I am somewhat familair with the region of which you speak and I think you're stretching things a bit...unless, as I said, you have some mutant equipment.  :D


I dunno what they were thinking about with the Klingon changes, either.  The unfortunate thing is that the TNG Klingons are a lot more flshed-out in terms of background and stories.  We didn't get to see much of the TOS Klingons.  They were a ruthless bunch, no doubt about it...

One of my favorite Trek episodes continues to be Day of the Dove though.  Kirk was never totally beaten by anyone, it's true...but he never beat Kang (my favorite Klingon), either!  He had to make some blob of enegy wig out and run away to save himself from Kang and his crew...heheh.


It's all good, man...I'm with you...the game might not be as good without and good-natured rivalry amongst Fed and Klingon players...as long as it doesn't get ugly, it's a good thing...heheh.
