Hey folks,

Ok, so I had a pretty interesting weekend, and I need some advice from my fellow Taldrenites.  I've asked my RL friends about this, but I figured I'de get some more hands off opinion.

So, as with every friday evening, I headed up to work at the bar at around seven o'clock in the evening.  Normally I work alone, but this past friday the bar had a new girl hired on, and I was going to be training her.    This wasn't so bad, as the girl had worked at the bar before, and just needed a refresher.

Anyway, the girl in question was smokin' hot, and was quite nice.  I'm normally fairly quiet around people I don't know, but it was quite easy to ease into conversation with her.  We got along really well, and it was pretty obvious that there was some flirting going on there, more on her part than on mine.  I offered to drive her home after we closed the bar, but her friends showed up to give her a lift.

When I came into work on Saturday afternoon, I wasn't there long before she showed up.  She wasn't working, but we had talked about a movie which she owned on Friday night, and she went out of her way to bring me up a copy of it.  She was heading down to the Canoe Regatta, so I told her I'de probably catch her when I went down after my shift.

I hit the Regatta with a few friends, and we just chilled for a bit while waiting for the fireworks to start.  We were listening to the band that was playing and just talking when the girl showed up.  I started talking with her, but I was really tired and wasn't really able to speak that well.  She went off with one of her friends, and the fireworks started.  When they were over she came looking for me to say good night, but unfortunatly I was in the middle of a conversation with family friends, and didn't have a chance to get her number.

So, I'm wondering what I should do.  My said it's pretty obvious that she is interested, and I know that.  I've managed to get her number, and have yet to watch the movie she lent me, so my friends suggested I give her a call and see if she wanted to come by and watch it with me.  I'de like to, and I probably will, but as always in these situations I am a tad nervous.  I don't think I've read the signals wrong, but that doesn't make me feel any less nervous about calling her.

What do you folks think?

As many times as she came by to see you, it's quite obvious that she's interested in something.  Give her a call.  Ask her if she wants to come over and watch the movie with you.  All she can do is shoot you down.  An action which normally isn't fatal.

Like I said, I'm probably going to give her a shout this afternoon.  The only thing I'm worried about is that I may have seemed a bit cold towards her on Saturday night, and it wasn't my intention to be like that.

explaine to her that you where busy and didn't have time to say goodbye, since m not interested in human i have no experiance with that.

You know, you're too worried about it.  Just call her and if she wants to do it she will, and if not, she won't.  Just don't come off like being a crazed stalker or something.  Be cool and if she likes you then she'll probably want to do something with you, if not, then heck, you tried and lost nothing really from trying.

I'd go with the above advise, i'd call her see if she wants to hang out. As for seeming cold apologise (just in case) but explain that your interested in her but don't want to look the fool by formally asking.  This way she can let you know if she wants you to be formal or not. Either way you can continue being mates, and relationships are just friendships so something could happen later.

After much pacing about the house with the phone in my hand, I ended up calling her after work yesterday.  I told her I was planning to watch the movie she lent me, and was wondering if she wanted to join me.  She said yes, so all my nervousness was in vain.  (I have a problem with phones, I prefer talking face to face, as it allows you to gauge someones reaction.)

Anyway, I picked her up at 7:30 and came back to the house.  We chatted for a bit, and then started watching the movie (which was The Cell, and half way decent).  When it was over we chatted for a while longer, until I told her I had to take her home because I needed sleep in order to be functional for work the next day.

I had a pretty good evening, and I think she did as well.  I gave her my number when I dropped her off and told her to give me a shout sometime later this week.  Some friends and I are hitting the bar this Saturday, so I let her know about that and she seemed interested.  She wants to go dancing, which is cool since that is the point of going out this weekend.

In any case, it's all good!

Oh yeah, I forgot.  What is it with me and short women!!  My god, this girl is just tiny.  I clock in at around 6'2", and she is lucky if she hits 5'.  Not only that, she's super slim.

The last girl I was with was just as short, though not as slim.  It led to a number of problems, especially the dancing part.  Hand holding was also impossible, though that was fine by me as I am not overly fussy about that.

Anyway, I knew she was small because when we worked at the bar she had to get up on the counter in order to clear the bar off.  Even so, last night just reinforced how itsy bitsy she is...totally awesome!

lol, the chick I am after is 5 feet of fury, weighs at most 100lbs and I am 6'2" and 180lbs.

I like the smaller chicks.

EE,

That sounds about right, though I am only a little over 160, and I think it would be generous to say she is 100 lbs..

This is a tad tasteless, but she reminds me of this girl from University.  At dining hall, me and the boys would spend hours there just checking out the women from the other residences.  In particular there was this wee little one from Squires house.  We started off by calling her "tiny little hot girl from Squires", though that proved to be a tad bit unweildy.  Our friend Jono, who always has his mind in the gutterm came up with the name spinner...because as he explained it, if mounted right you could probably spin her.  Kinda lewd, but funny as well...I won't even mention the girl who we referred to with a hand gesture.

Anyway, I don't like making the comparison, as I've actually gotten to know this girl.  That said, physically the two are much the same, and could be classified as a spinner.

There was this mexican chick I was interested in, about 9 years ago named Suzy. She was also a tiny little thing, like most the chicks I have dated ( tallest was about 5'5" ). When I first started working at the job, I could not remember her name for the life of me but I always thought she had sweet tits. That became my pet nickname for her for about a month, until I could remember her name. Some of my friends still give me crap about that.

Yeah, I made the apology pretty quick, and I think I managed to score some points.  Like I said to her, the old couple I was talking to were the parents of one of my best friends during high school.  I apologised for sort of ignoring her, but told her I hadn't spoken to them in quite some time and that I was making plans to go visit them before they went on vacation.  She thought that was cute/sweet, especially considering I don't speak to their son any more.

Points for Ken!!!

Ahh, the blessing of petite women.  I don't know what it is, but they are simply more attractgive.  The cirves seem niver, they attributes more stunning, and it only seems to get better as they reach that 5' mark.  I can totally agree with you guys there- I would always prefer a smaller girl.  I'm also about your same size- 6'1", 220 lbs.  Of course, I have to be a little careful when hugging, as I might crush her, but even the hugs arebetter when you're with a girl that size.
I don't know where any\one came up with this tall anorexic standard, cuz it sucks.

I think the curves are the only disappointment with this girl.  I'm very much an ass man...I just love to see a nice one.  Unfortunately she doesn't really have one, or hips either.  On the plus side however, she has ample upper body definition...if you know what I'm saying.
