F-51 Mustang Fighter
« on: August 03, 2004, 02:16:21 am »
I went with a less traditional paint scheme for this one since the silver/metallic standard style wasn't working out. Maybe sandman will have better luck with it (if he does one that is).

That is way too cool.  I always imagined a starfighter version of the P-51 and now I see it, exactly as I pictured.
Any chance on you doing some wing commander fighters.  I do have a couple of 3d models I downloaded from Axeman3d.com.

Neat... ;D

I've always envisioned something based off of the F-22 or YF-23. They don't quite have the pedigree of the F-40 or 51, but quite frankly, I don't think they (the modern fighters) would look too out of place in the 23rd century.

I love this! The "Klink Killer" tag is terrific. I just gotta ask: Any plans to do a P-38 Lightning?

The P-38 is next in line actually, then I might do a few others.

Awesome?
Are you going to do the olive drab ETO paint job or the bare aluminum of the Pacific theater?

I have no idea how to make the metallic type textures needed, but I will give this one a shot too...after a couple others I found. ;)
