Firesoul,

is there any difference in model pointers/model folders between 3.3 and 3.4?

I am using my own custom models and would like to just swap out the 3.3 model folder into the 3.4 set up.  Is this possible, or has that changed as well?

It doesn't matter how fast your conection is (unless you're stuck on dial-up), the server is the limiting factor here. On my 5mbit connection OP+ still comes down at ~100KB/s (not bad and certainly nothing to complain about) where the ~650MB QNX 6.3 iso comes down at ~515KB/s. It is the server's capacity, demand and load balancing strategies (or lack of) that makes the difference.

Currently downloading Firesoul's OP+ 3.4.  Estimated d/l time:7 hours, 18 minutes(3% completed).  This is, of course, Microsoft time, so we all know it'll take over 9 hours.

4 hours and 57 minutes later.....


...I'm about ready to throttle NTL. Not only do they not provide cable where I live, but there's a 2 hour time limit on the dialup, after which you have to reconnect.

Thank (insert deity or other object of veneration here) for resumable downloads.


Oh, and it downloaded ok...I miss the academic backbone...

Nice job Firesoul.

Problem though.   It won't let me install 3.4 until I uninstall 3.3.   I don't seem to have a link or anything that will do that on my computer.   Am I just missing something or what?

I just opened up my sfc/assests/specs file and right clicked on the 3.3 shiplist and deleted it, then downloaded the 3.4 list, no problems.

Thanks for the tip there Krueg, but I finally found the 3.3 uninstall while looking for any copies of the shiplist.

Anyway, all taken care of now.

Well, it was in the control panel's add/remove program. and in SFC:OP's dir as opplus_uninstall.exe
