« on: August 01, 2004, 05:47:22 pm »
Install OP+ 3.3 first!!!!

Missions:   Install this http://pet.dhs.org/~firesoul/sfc2/NW/installer/ED_OPMissions.exe

Other Stuff: http://69.115.120.11:9000/images/gw3.zip

Copy the shiplist and fighter list to "C:\Program Files\Taldren Software Inc\Starfleet Command Orion Pirates\Assets\Specs"

Copy the Models.siz file to "C:\Program Files\Taldren Software Inc\Starfleet Command Orion Pirates\Assets\Models"

Copy the models.bat file to your desktop and run it.  This will create the folders for the PF models.  THIS WILL ONLY WORK IF YOU HAVE OP INSTALLED IN THE DEFAULT LOCATION.

A real installer will be made as son as possible.

Looks up the Term "High Blood Pressure" in Websters.

"High Blood Pressure"  -  1)  A medical condition characterized by abnormally high blood pressure within the body causing hypertension in the vascular walls;  2)  See Die Hard.

::Deep down in an undisclosed location in Maryland::

Satan:  J'inn.  J'inn!  You listening to me?

J'inn:  What?  Oh, me.  Yes.  Oh ... great dark dictator, thingy, person ? Satan.

Satan:  Have you done as I have directed?

J'inn:  Yes oh leader of lawyers.  I have.

Satan:  Good.  Now.  Don't forget to screw-up the .gf files as I have instructed and do not make DieHard?s corrections to the shiplist.  But most of all, ensure he is blamed.  Then, and only then, will you see the destruction of your nemesis.  Oh, and keep the NW10PatrolEnemy mission in the game.

J'inn:  The NW10PatrolEnemy mission.  But why?

Satan:  Well, that's the runner mission.  I want that one left in specifically for Gook.  I'm gonna work on him next.

J'inn:  Oh.  Uh, I will do.  And, uh, thank you, oh kind Barrister of Bastards.

And a bump!

I have a full installer ready if you'd like to use it - waiting for shiplist corrections before posting though.

Alternatively, SFB-OP installs all its models to assests\models\sfb_op, the existing model folder remains  undisturbed and the added-on files are in an appropriate location. I agree that tossing single model folders into assets\models is generally a bad idea. The strings and spec files have to go in certain locations so the "pristine state of being" is already disturbed anyway...

I'd just as soon leave GW3 as it is though, to save the work already done, but I can compensate if the model folders and shiplist are modified.

Good point, next time I'll set up an alternate folder.

For now on, I want all the new models in the "../SFCOP/xxx-rated/assets/models" folder otherwise I'm not playing GW3 anymore.
