We are honing up the skills required to uphold the name of THE BLUE PLAGUE in GW3.

DH runs it most nights on GSA or via IP.

I personally invite all my newfound bruces to fly Fred this go round. (We have the Hostess company working overtime on Chocodile prodution)

Hydrans, ISC, Roms, Lyrans (course, youd have to fly WITH Mirazintis) Hell, we'd take most anyone. Cept Hexx. We WANT Hexx flying Klink!

Roms will most likely fly Klink, but your welcome to fly Fred, of course.

Anyhow, were having a great time flyin and it kills time and feeds the urge to play SFC in the off time.

My First Officer, Hunter (see Avatar), keeps whispering " embrace the drone and beware the photon miss chance."  He also says "Why don't you fly with Chuut, Gook, and Soreyes. They are all good captains. Besides, if you fly with the wrong people I'll have to pull out your Cat5 cable  again."

Groaning under feline terrorism I have decided to fly Mirak once again.

Well, nice try, but this Bruce is flying Klingon.   They have an black market for chocodiles that's just to die for.  (which I might just do some)

Anyway, what would a GW server be without Diehard chasing me around?   I ask ya, what fun would it be without that?!

Today certainly IS a good day to die for the empire!!!    (and tomorrow, the next day, the one after that.......)

I've always cast an envious eye at Fed drone boats, (drones, phasers, shields and power whooopee) Kinda cntemplating flying a Blue Meanie, depends on orders I guess :)

Due to the annoying fact I am partially colorblind, and that I can barely see the Klingon interface, the Alliance has me "on loan" till the Rommies come out... (GW 5, I believe...)

Heck yeah, Alfman, I guess I shoulda made the title of the thread "Anyone who plans to fly Fred OR Mirazinti" Lol.

After all, we could have some Fred vs Mirazinti matches, as the Mirak are very similar to Klinks in shield strengths and weapons layouts, especially on the standard cruisers.

Agave, we will be lookin for ya! ;)

Julin, even if your decision to fly Fred is coerced, we still happily welcome you for GW3.

BTW Alfman, in case you didnt know, photons are now "magic" and proxies hit pretty damn well. AND you have drones WITH the photons, not to mention excellent shields, shield regen rates AND P-1 instead of those pop-gun P-3's that Mirazinti ships are lousy with.

I guess I'll make 2 accounts: one Mirak(Kzinti) and one Federation (which I have not played since the I-play servers for EAW).
Unless the rules change this will not break them.

P.S. Will this make me 2 casual players or just a 'throwed off' nutter.

Nah, just pick on alfman, we would be happy to have you fly for the Alliance as either Mirazinti or Fred. (Unless you want to split time, of course.)

Julin, had a great time blowin you up in training with DickHurtz last night! Your coming along nicely, soon you will wonder why you ever bothered with those PPD thingys when you could have proxies! ;)

We actually could USE some Mirazinti for training, as we were experimenting with mixed Mirazinti/Fred fleets last night, very nasty vs the klinks.  Having an actual Mirazinti pilot would be very helpful. Chutt?

The sad part is later on I went with Karnak and someone else on "Klink" to let Mu get some fleet practice...

Gotta love GSA's ability to let me fly K-D5Ls and K-D7Ws from my "home" ISC interface...

Sad part of the training is that I lasted longer in the Klink boats (the D7W died by SD on top of DH's ship) than in the Fed ones...

Love it when I don't have the bull's-eye on the Fed hulls.  Now put that paint down there AJTK... ;)

Actually, if you check DH's tactics post in the Fred forum on SFC2.net, you would find that just being in the biggest ship no longer makes you the primary target...

BTW, we were giving you the biggest boat to make you last longer! ;)

Wasn't that the one where I flew the F-DNH? If I remember correctly, I had an F-NCV wingman (don't remember who it was) vs two heavies (Julin and DH) and some sorta D5 (Karnak).
