Dark Elf has completed work on the SFC3 webmap and it works fine!

We will have the OP map up shortly so that both D2 and D3 pilots can coordinate their fight.

The OP map isnt right at the moment, the program that reads the server database isnt functioning correctly. Dark elf was working on fixing it but had to sleep.

DarkElf,

I really wish you would do to your webmap code whatever Bonk did to it to make it work better. I think he may have removed some javascript from it or something. Your map has never worked for me in Netscape and infrequently in IE, whereas Bonk's modification of your code has always worked perfectly. I am sure that he would be more than wiliing to share with you what he has done. Not slighting your accomplishments here. I couldn't write one, but someone has something that is now working better. Why not get everyone on the same page with this?

OP webmap is now working using Bonks OP Webmap. Thanks Bonk, works like a charm bro!

Map updates every 5 mins.

hehe... the evil plotting begins! (got may plans for tonight all laid out now!) Glad to see it works ok on a larger db, I'm not 100% it will be ok with a dirty db but we'll see how it goes...

The OP map is broken right now. ??? Hey Fluf, could you send me a copy of the db in its current state, then run a db clean to see if that clears it up? I think I know what the cause is. (its probably generating lots of errors in the webserver log at the moment and possibly creating a nasty load...)

Bonk Ive been away for 4 days now and Im sure the DB is a mess. Ill try a clean once and see if that fixes it. Also I think the server the webmap is on is having some problems.
