What is the purpose of this post, or of the groups? Not intending to be snide, just want to grasp the concept. Nice of you that you have repeat downlaod locations for those of us who don't have the knowledge of where to go to get models... or are these your creations?

you'd be better off going through the trouble of getting a nightsoft account to host the models, groups on yahoo have I believe 2000k per day bandwidth limit for files, or is it a bit larger? Either way I typicly can't get more than 10 sfc vessels from a given group in one shot.

My purpose originally was to get all the ships that I wanted in one place for my own use. The reason was for the numerous times I tried to go to the site and in was either down or gone and as so many of the sites that these originally came from are now gone forever.i.e.The Duct Tape Wonder, Rogue and so many others.
I then realized

that others might want these ships as well. Some are one of a kind and others are mutal kitbashes.
They are free for all and not to worry I made sure to keep the proper read me files so as to credit the makers not me. Heck I couldn't make a ship if you gave me a kit that said no assembly required.

Also if you join the groups it will keep me from having to keep requesting extensions every month

SO JOIN DAMMIT!!!!!

never said that was a bad idea, simply you chose yahoo, which is a poor hosting solution.
