Captain Rhadjekk Vor Thruum returns to the bridge of the IKV Kraag Dorr. Once seated in his command chair he pushes his log entry button:

The IKV L' rexa has located the Andromedan base. Our Romulan allies are to be commended on the quality of the cloaking device they installed on that fine scout ship! If I live through this next engagement I will see too it that at least my First Strike Squadron gets a similar upgrade to our cloaking devices. It is too bad we are not in a position to duplicate the sensor equipment that our new Federation allies also provided the L' rexa for this joint mission.

The L' rexa's surveillance report confirms that the starbase Desty Nova reported to the Federation authorities is in fact not complete. That puts the Andromedans at a disadvantage. I can not help but wonder if this could be a trap set to deal a crushing blow to the allied forces of "Operation Unity". We shall find out soon enough.

Task Force Kraag Dorr's Teeth can reach the starbase and its defenders a full day before the Flat-headed Federation fleet can. The very idea I have to report to a Federation flag officer makes my blood boil!  Adding to my frustration is the fact that our Romulan and Lyran allies constantly delay fielding the new warships they promised us for this vital campaign to cut off the head of the serpent.

Operation "Unity" indeed.

We shall see if this will truly be an unified effort.  Perhaps QobNuH will successfully pry the Romulan's out of their ship docks to join us in the coming battle.  If so, the Andromedans are about to be pushed out of this galaxy. Any further delay will tip the balance once again in favor of the Invaders.

It will be a glorious day to die!

Nearly a full standard day has passed with no new activity from the Andromedan Starbase. The IKV L'rexa continues to monitor the base construction with nothing new to report.

Task Force Kraag Dorr's Teeth has been ordered to stay put while Federation Admiral Victor Price, aboard the USS Churchill, roundevous with our Romulan allies in the Ceti-Gamma-Seven system. It seems that QobNuh was successful at getting at least a squadron of Imperium and Regal Hawk battlecruisers from the Romulans for our pending base assualt. Now all that remains is to see if our Lyran allies will field their latest warships.

I hate waiting. The greatest glory will go to those who engage the Andromedan starbase first, not those that are forced to linger behind.
