Topic: Modelers! I need a vet kitbasher to help me with a very interesting TMP project. (Read 2593 times)

Not another Fed ship! Well, yes. But what if this Fed ship was the one that was done right and all the others were... wrong? Then there would be less Fed ships. That's one way of looking at it.

Anyways, there are numerous designs of a particular ship in SFC/SFB that are not represented accurately (loadouts) by any of the fine models done and redone by so many. I think when one Fed ship started off on the wrong keel, so to speak, the others all followed suit and they all never matched what they should have looked like. But that's what's good about so many models... so many personal choices.

But the one I'm wanting to do is a far departure from what we have and I think is unique looking and special enough to be a very cool project. So anyone interested in helping out who can do wicked kitbashing (I'm a great texture guy myself and will do that part), please let me know, we have one Fed ship begging to be done that no one has seen the likes of before and one I think will be well recieved.

It's nearly done. This TMP era F-xxx... and F-xx will knock your socks off... In another week or so, prepare to be proxied!

I have one of the best modelers in the business working with me. These two ships are coming along well. I'll keep you posted.

C'mon Dizzy give us a teaser shot or two.... TMP is MY favorite era too.

So far it sounds like a modernization of Fleetdock13 "TO SCALE" SFB model project.

That is what it looks like at 300k. Can't be anymore specific than that atm. Any closer would give it away... It's not any revolutionary design, rather just a more accurate depiction of a DN/BB that matches up with the SSD's. What will surprise a few of you is the base textures I used, what I have done with them, the few choice parts I have used and the what the modeler did to them. It's not far off from what you all have seen in F-DN's before, but its a far enough departure to certainly distinguish itself from the rest of the bunch.

So kick back relax and I'll bump sooner than later.
