Yup- now I mod. I happen to notice that most of you play OP. So I am moving over to the Dynaverse3 forum. If your looking for me thats where you can find me.

James... James... James... don't give up modeling, man! Listen, I'm going to be perfectly honest with you. I hope that I don't offend you, I'm not trying to.

You have came a long way with your models. You just need to get better for people to flip over them like they do for WZ's or Atra's (May he rest in peace for the moment. :notworthy:), Thu11s', etc... You aren't going to have that happen if you stop now.
You've made comments that you release an original concept and nobody notices, yet someone releases the jillionth version of a Connie and everyone Oooos and Ahhhs. Dude, that's not your fault!!! Everyone's looking for a better Connie. We all want a "better mousetrap" too. DON'T STOP!!!
Modding is really cool. I love doing it, myself. What I really wish that I could do though is release a mod that is all my own work. I want to do the specs, make the models, and write the scripts. I want it to have awesome skirmish scripts like the bonus Sulu missions, All new single player campaigns that include all of the "Historical" battles from SFB, and the bitchin'est D2 campaign that anyone has ever played. I'm nowhere near that yet. Someday though...

Anyway, don't quit doing something that you want to do because you aren't enjoying immediate success. That's quiting, and anyone can quit. I'll get off my soapbox now.

I don't understand, why would he quite now?  Did somebody piss him off or something? 

I'm still continuing to model for the community.  I'm one of the lesser known modelers, but people has said that my models are not to bad.  Their is no way I will stop making models for SFC and the community.  I have fun doing them.   ;D  Helps me relax too.  Right now, I'm working on the SFB Police Cutter.  its taking some time, but I'm getting their.

Oh hey-I am not quitting cause I am upset or anything. Just decided to devote my time to modding the game instead. Specifically SFC3. Modeling also is hard on my eyes but I just don't have time for both. Though I still tweak models. ie hard points, rescale and damage textures. Basically just conversion stuff. This way at some point hopefully I can add others peoples stuff that hasn't been put in a mod yet. Write now I'd just be happy to get the ast edition of the ROK mod out.
