Cool designs.  ;D So are these supposed to be like national guard units for Earth or something? It would be cool to see your take on such units of Vulcan, Orion, Cygnus, Tellar, Andor, etc.

Yeah. That's kind of what I have in mind.  ;) ;D

I've got a few Vulcans, Andorians, Alpha Centaurians, Rigellians, and Orions  I haven't started to update yet, but I have plans on out-fitting  several Home Fleets.

[babble] Wouldn't it be neat to play on a D2 with nothing but factions of the UFP and factions of other empires? I don't think the map could handle it, but I wonder if there's a way to do it? Prehaps all fed races would be 'fed' and you'd use your starting prestige to pick a faction ship. Different factions might not be alligned under the same blue flag, which would probably be confusing at first ... I dunno ... just babbling, again. [/babble]

That would be interesting. Unfortunately, one of the reasons the Federation works so well is that there has never been any major hostility or distrust between the member races. Well, except the Orions.

That concept would totally work with the Kzintis though!  :P :)

If it were before Y4 ... before there was a unified Federation, it might work ...  :P ::)

Just food for existentialist meanderings ...

Alright! Mudd, you outdo yourself over and over. This is SWEET!!!

If you want to do some kind of 'pre-Fed' mod, I woiuld be happy to do some specs for you... if you were interested in contracting them out.

I'm not much on mod building these days ( I tried it years ago with a bunch of Deadmeat's models for a Romulin War mod, and just about burned out ... :P ), but how could I not approve? It's too cool of an idea. Use these ships as you will ... and the ones yet to come ... ( 'sure was a good idea to model starbases ...)

 ;)

Cool but where are the weapons?

another question,  how many of the ISS  aside  from the connie are  available  in regular federation  style?

Mackie is da man with the Lightwave camera! Great shot!

(Run over to Mackie's site TCS to see an awesome render of the Mars Class Cruiser by Kobash! Sign up over there and flame someone while they least suspect you or something ... :P )

Next Gen???!!! Bite your tongue!!   ;D

Sigh ... You don't have to ask me, just do it. You have my approval though. I'd like screenies!

These aren't intended to be hardened battle ships by any means, so the weaponry, where visible, is light. Frankly, it wasn't a big concern when building these. There are two dark spot on the upper primary hull that I consciously made as phaser point. [shrugs] The ships are hardpointed for SFC/OP, albeit, lackadaisically.

As for the ISS ships, none at current. I built those things specifically for the Galaxies at War mod, to give the Imperials a distinction of there own in the game. Now, In GAW, they've been replaced by Space - Dolphins and Astro - Raccoons ... ::)

If anyone feels froggy, I wouldn't mind seeing Fed versions of the ISS ships, but I have no desire to build them.

I, Mudd.

hey    mod, any chance of a  DN for the ISS? I'd  love  to see something worthy of  "Thors Hammer" in that evil lettering acrossed the hull. Or Thunderbolt for that matter.

...  if you have any spare time could you make a small fighter of the same style as youe homefleet as i think that would look great

That'll be no problem!

Tounge bitten sorry ???

Don't sweat it ( sarcasm doesn't translate well across BBS :( )... I'm just not a huge TNG design fan. :P

The ISS God of Thunder is classified as a DN - or are you talking about a Fed version of the ship?
