As the title says why don't we try and get back to focusing on the game.
Maybe we can get Kim (and others?) to come back once we stop screwing around with everything else.
I mean-
For the guys trying to reinvent the D2 - Sadly enough it's a dying game, we're never going to have the numbers that Arcticfire or the Rook's tavern had.
Some people like PvP , some people LIKE to fly against the Ai and flip hexes. BOTH are actually "valid" military tactics that can be applied to RL. Let's try to accept that.
Let the admins and Mods try to set up the games they want to set up. They are the one's working on the servers. If you think the server is biased or unfair then don't play on it. No need to come here and vent or whine about it. It is not that big a real life issue . It's a game. If it is that big a real life issue to you ,you really should invest in upgrading your life. Seriously.
Following up to that- ther is no prize or trophy for winning. Agains it's a game. Have fun.
Who really cares if player y for race x did something that was kinda stupid 16 servers ago.
Other things (I'm kinda ranting on tonight)
Firesoul -bud it was a disgrace and a complete ass that someone tried to use your work.
You've done alot for the communtiy and we all owe you a huge debt of gratitude for your (free) work on adapting OP+ so we can use it.
But.. if I read your responses to the other thread correctly.. you called in sick because of this? (I'm hoping it was just that you were up late and really tired) -if it wasn't take a step back man. Take some time off and go do something non OP related.
I can understand you're being upset -you have dome a lot of work, but to let it interfere with RL and to call it a "rape" kinda goes beyond "normal". I have a couple of friends who were raped- You aren't even close to going what they went through.
-Please note-I'm not trying to disparage your work, as I said we all owe you big, and I know it was alot of work.But if it's taken that kinda role in your life take a step back. Fight for it sure, you're entitled to that, but don't let it consume you.

Everyone here (even me sometimes) is an idiot. <--- I don't mean that as a joke. Some people here are so tied up in this game it really is sad, that being said they've been that way for a while. You've has fun here and made some friends -why turn your back on them because you disagree with what some people did?
As I said- I think you said you were moving, hoping it's just stress related to that.
Anyway all I can think of at the moment. Sure I'll be back later with more.
