It could be a possible explanation of things...if I were a studier of evolution and had a Ph.D I'd be rather interested in this case.  I suspect however, perhaps it has something more to do with her experiences with her stomach (perhaps the animal thinks it will not hurt as much if it walks in that fashion?) than mere brain damage?
