USS Phobos
« on: July 30, 2004, 01:36:12 am »
I seem to remember recently someone was looking for USS Phobos, I have version . . . Original design by Lt. Kevin Riley,LWO conversion by Fabio MOD file conversion by Makotokat and Resized by Atheorhaven. Additional front impulse intake textures by P81 from his USS Loknar.  The one over at STS with a nice USS Eagle a Majestic (miranda class) and USS Akyazi class ship.

I have this model of it . .  Let me know and I will zip it up and email it for you.

Unless I am right out in deep space and no one was after this frigate . .

Arcanum. Can you please make a change to the credits for the Achilles Class. The model and textures were created originally by Andy "Deemon" Johns.

Sure, what should it say? What i posted about the model is what was Loknar Refit text file in the model I have, I just cut and pasted it on to the description board . . . trying to ensure the "credits" btw I am NOT the author . .  wish I could figure out how to change that part too.  The file is in the zip file that I uploaded this is the text included in the model file that i have:

Title   : U.S.S Phobos (FASA Loknar Refit)
Filename   : fdx.zip
Version   : 1.0 FINAL This ship can be used in SFC II
Date   : 1/24/2003
Author   : Lt. Kevin Riley
website     :
Credits   : Original design by Lt. Kevin Riley,LWO conversion by Fabio MOD file conversion by Makotokat and Resized by Atheorhaven. Additional front impulse intake textures by P81 from his USS Loknar.

*****NOTE*****

Description of the Mod File
---------------------------

This is Lt. Kevin Riley's version of the FASA Loknar Class brought to SFC2/OP. It can be used from anything from a frigate to a light cruiser. It works nicely as an X-era destroyer in SFC:OP. In FASA Trek, the Loknar class was one of two Federation ship designs made by the Androians; the other ship class being the Northampton class Frigate.

Steps to install
----------------

1.  Make a new directory in your
    Starfleet Command\Assets\Models\  folder called "fdx"
2.  Copy the contents of the zip file into the new

    "Starfleet Command\Assets\Models\_fdx\" folder.

3.  Finally, open the shiplist.txt file located in the
    Starfleet Command\Assets\Specs\ folder with Notepad.
    a.  From here you have two choices you can:
   1.  Replace the model geometry of one of the existing ships
with the following \Assets\Models\_fdx\fdx.mod (FOR SFC II)
    b.  Or :
   1. you can insert the Loknar Refit stats inbetween the existing row
           entries of the sfbspc.txt file.
<<CAUTION:  This may cause some problems with the function of SFC,
espically during Multiplayer and Single player campaigns>>
