Looks like it needs to be re-mapped.
"Proudly you gathered, rank on rank to war,
As you heard God's message from afar;
All you had hoped for, all you had, you gave
To save mankind-yourself you scorned to save."

Mod veiwer is known for buggn out from time to time. There are several things to try:

restart mod veiwer.
if model is on CD, put it your hard drive.
restart windows.
check to see what format the textures are, see if there 256 or 16million.

any of these things could cause a simple miss hap.

I had a ship in mod veiwer once that looked just like that, the problem was that there were 2 meshes in one, kinda like an LOD, except they were the same model & size, just off set slightly. Imported to max & deleted 1 of them & it was fine.

I was going to suggest the same, last time i had a problem that looked like this one it was down to this as well. I just deleted the other mesh and remade my own LOD's for it.

Make sure the textures are a power of two.

256x256
512x512
1024x1024

or even
256x512
512x1024

so on and so forth.
