The Strangest Thing You Have Ever Done
« on: August 05, 2004, 09:38:35 pm »
What is the strangest thing you have ever done to get the attention of someone you wanted to get to "know" better?

I wore a dress to school to try and catch the eye of a really HOT upper-classman.  He was this tall, gorgeous surfer dude in my 6th period arts class in High School.  I even wore make-up!

OK so you might be thinking "So what?  You're a girl isn't that what girls do?  Wear dresses and put on make-up?"  Not me!  I've been a tom-boy since I was little and my grandma found me happly sitting in a mud puddle in this pretty lace dress she bought me with a decapitated doll head.  Now mind you I don't do half messures so I was also decked out under my dress with a black and red lace teddy and instead of wearing the matching garter around my thigh I had it around my neck like a choker.

Did you know some dresses become kinda see though when the sunlight hits it right?  I didn't. . . . BUT I figured it out fast when I got cat calls!  It was one of the fastest ways to piss off half of the girls in school.

So anyway I'm sitting next to "Surfer God" and we are doing the class assignment where you have to do that line drawing and all you can do is look at the subject you are drawing (your partner) but you can't look at the paper till you think you are done.  My heart was racing so fast that all I got on my tablet was spread out spaghetti and areas that looked like smooshed meatballs!

His was a little better but his eyes kept drifting to my chest.  What an ego boost!  And that wasn't the only thing that was boosted either.  heh heh heh

We went out for a few "dates" and yeah he was fun but when the surf called . . . well lets just say that even "leap frog" with me wasn't enough for him.  ;D

Stayed married to the same woman for 29 + years???  But I love her..

Some would think it strange...but then I didn't drown my boys when they learned to talk...and I didn't neuter them when they were teenagers (something you'll have to deal with Alien)....

Nah they already know that if they make me a grandma before they turn 25 I can take them out of life since I gave it to them.

Now why did you say 29"+" years?  Is it because you can't remember what your next anniversary is, old man?  (kidding!)  Way cool you still love her and she still loves you!  I hope and work for that with Ferret every day and in nine days we celebrate our 6th year of marriage.  I guess we are still newly weds compaired to you Mike!   ;D :o

What is the strangest thing you have ever done to get the attention of someone you wanted to get to "know" better?

The strangest *read- stupidest* thing that I ever did to get a female's attention was named Blender and I lasted about 3.4 seconds (reports varry) before I was slammed back first into the chute gate and convinced that bull riding was not my cup of coffee.

However... nobody has calves like a cowgirl, and being a leg man I was after her hard. Unfortunately, the bull wasn't the only thing that threw me after the first ride... she had a B/F she wasn't willing to leave.

I dont know if you would call it strange, but I serenaded a girl when I was in high school (guitar and all). One of the neighbors called the cops and I had to explain why I was "lurking" around under the girl's bedroom window.

Just for the record. I sang "Mandy". It was her name.  8)

I ignored her. then I had friends send her notes like, "Do you like me or do you Like me, like me?" only problem is, she never knew who was sending the notes so how could she tell.

And then there was this time that I walked up to this chick and I grabbed her hair nicley, took a big wiff and said, " You spell pretty".

Oh, oh oh and there was this one time, yeah.. I was trying to impress this chick with all these kung fu moves and then my friend as a joke went to throw a punch for me to block, so I could impress her. Problem was, I was not ready for the punch and I failed to block the punch ( my kung fu skills were weak ) and he knocked me out.

I cry a lot.
I came, I saw, I came again

Mine would have been singing "Love Me Tender" at a Karoke bar to a girl I didn't know placing myself on my knees in front of her chair and looking her straight in the eyes.

The hardest part suprisingly wasn't singing to her, even though I know my voice is absolutely awful, but keeping my eyes from wandering to her ample cleavage........ ;D

The end result was getting invited to sit with her and her friends, finding out she was the new girlfriend of a friend of mine (who wasn't there as it was girl's nite out) and getting hooked up for a date with one of the other girls at the table who was also attractive who I had some common interests with.

The girls all thought my attempt was kinda charming, as I would go through all that embarrassment to meet a girl, but the real embarrassing moment was the next time I saw my friend Taz and had to explain why I was "hitting" on his girl..... ::)
