You didn't do anything wrong. This mission is broken. I think Evil Dave made a version that worked in one of his mission packs.

well in the old tadren forum i was told to use mine to damage the shield of the repair bay, use the deep scanner and scann the area, destroye the enemy ship and leave the oposite side of where i enter the area, but m not sure if i did all that but if it wont change a thing then what is the name of the mission in the mission file so i can remove it?. :2gun:

I believe you are supposed to cross over the map from where the stardaock is and maybe capture the stardock.

Then simply cross over the entire map.

I believe that one is Met_29Recharge.scr

If you go to Assets/Scripts/Campaigns you can remove it from the mission lists (the .mct files in that folder) to prevent it from being offered in future campaigns.

I did put together a revised version of it, Met_NW29Recharge.scr, that (IIRC) actually allows you to recharge once or some such thing (haven't looked at it in a lonngggg while)  Available here:
http://www.sfcx.org/downloads/mirrors/NuclearWessels/Met_NW29Recharge.scr
(right click and use "save as" if your machine tries to treat it as a screen saver)
