Okay guys, I spent some time on the machine tonight to try and get at least one of my request list complete.  :)

This is one for Klingon Fanatic (and you!) looking for a lit version of an old classic.. Moonraker's "Regula One".  He asked me to light this a while back, and then asked again a little bit ago.

Well, other than placing the lights on the lower tanks, this is done.  :D  Went for a subtle approach here, I didn't want to detract from Moonraker's original textures, and in fact, I didn't touch the original textures at all.  I created the illumination maps based off the original textures, and based off photos from TWOK.

At any rate, here's the pix..

So it's just tweaking the lights on the tanks now, and testing ingame (the SFC 1 version had all inverted faces I think, so I'm going to try both in SFC 2) and once that's done.. we should be ready to go.  :)

Thanks MP.. :)  It'll look better once I get the tank lights completely set where they should be.. they're not there yet.  Nice thing is I should have some time tonight to complete this, plus wrangle up the models for release I was going to do over the weekend.  :D

Thanks offered for fixing this model. It would be my first choice for the SBS specification but the LOD 2 and 3 was defective. What a shame as it belongs in Starfleet Command. Now it might be usable for what it was supposed to be. The Federation science station.

Almost is now.. I finished the light setups tonight, but didn't have time to play test it ingame.  And I want to make sure that this is the way it should be ingame before I release it.

One thing though, and this is a big Oops!

Didn't read the credit file first before I started working on this one.. this station is *not* by Moonraker... it's AtraHasis' work.  Really sorry about that..

In the meantime, before release.. I thought that I'd tease your with the release shots..

Image 1 started off as a screencap from TWOK, but I removed the movie's Regula One, redid the area cut out, and rendered the SFC Regula One to create the composite render..



And Image 3 is a shot of the front of it..



And finally, shot #2 shows the new lights on the tank closeup...



Shot #4 (when done), will do the distance shot I did before to show the final lighting arrangement.

All right, had a chance to playtest it last night, and I had a solid station that was still visible at range 115+, so I think we're just about ready to go with it.. not at home right now, but will post screenies when I do get home later on.  :)

As promised, here's the screenies of Regula One in SFC 2 with the new illuminations.  I'm going to re-mention.. all I did to the mesh is add the illuminations and flip the faces, I didn't touch any of Atra's original textures at all.










As you can see.. visible past range 111+ so I think it was a success.  :)

All I'll have to do now is pack 'er up to upload it for d/l... but I have to take the kid out to play for a bit.. probably be up there within 3 hours.
