How to slow cook

Resist takeing the lid off the slow cooker to check on the dishes progress. Hopefully around 8 pm my beans will be done, if I can leave them alone and not keep tasteing them. But damn I did do a good job on the spices this time. Which were 1/2 choped oinon, diced ham, Tablespoon Papreika, tablespoon salt, tablespoon pepper, Minced garlic, and what it was lacking some A1 sauce which brought out the flavor, which is why Im having hard time trying not to keep tasteing it and just leting it cook. And this is all with about 2 cups of beans, or about half the package.

 I can never leave the lid on. I'm a compulsive taster and nibbler. :)
Every time i make Black eyed peas and Ham Hocks, I'm full by the time they are done. :smackhead:

Try cooking with a pressure cooker...

... lifting the lid will be at your own risks and perils!  ::)
