My wife and I watched it last night.  Quite impressive.  I did find it strange that all the reporters etc were at the landing site.  In my opinion I could see the government setting up a big cordon.

Lilly's husband, talk about scum.  How long was she gone before he took up with the other woman and he can't even be bothered to go tell her at the holding facility but just hopes she won't show up at the house, and then when she does, he's already got a restraining order?  Lemme see, she's been gone eleven years, her daughter is 12.  You have to be missing for seven years before you can be declared dead?  Something just doesn't add up there unless the new wife was just living with the husband before then.

Interesting different powers in the people.  The little girl is a precog, Shawn can heal things but not his cousin, and Orson can cause serious sonic disturbances.  What powers do Lilly, the airman, and the other 4400 have?

Baldwin (the Homeland Security man) shouldn't have been interviewing Shawn (his nephew).  If he did, would he get so pissed at him?  "Did you give him any drugs or anything".  Now if it had just been the two young men and one comes back and the other is in a coma for that many years I could see asking questions.  But when there are thousands of people who are returned, that means it shouldn't be something that either boy did.

I keep seeing Baldwin in Taken though.  I can't get the picture of the bad guy out of my head.

It will be interesting to see what happens next week.

I agree with Lilly's Husband. I imagine she will Hook up with The Guy from Korean War. Can't recall his name. It will be an Interesting twist though since He loved her Grandmother.

Orson is the Strange one to Me. It appears to be sonic, But he also exhibits super Strength. I think this will Be Pretty good over the Next month.

Speaking of Lilly and her husband.......

If they hadn't been conjugal for several months prior to her abduction, and she hasn't been conjugal since her return......... where did her pregnancy come from?

Good Question. I was under the Impression she had been with her husband 7-8 weeks before she left, But I may have Mis-Interpreted that part. If I did, that's going to be another element which Will have me liking the show.

That Little girl though, She Just amazes me with her ability to keep Calm throughout this whole thing. I guess Being a Precog allows her to do so. When she Brought Olson that Tissue near the Beggining, That was just amazing.

It's also interesting to see alot of Societal Problems we are facing today, Shown through the SciFi Vision. Rascism, Jobs, Divorce, etc.

You know you watch a lot of Science Fiction shows....Stargate, X-Files, 4400, etc when you can recognize neighborhoods in Vancouver.

Interesting tidbit from MSNBC.com

The show?s producers bring experience in the sci-fi field. Co-creator Scott Peters wrote, produced and directed several episodes of ?The Outer Limits,? while executive producer Rene Echevarria penned more than 30 episodes of ?Star Trek: The Next Generation.?

That's very Interesting. I still try and Catch Both shows when I can. Spike TV showed the episode with Sarek being Ill today.

I think SciFi channel runs OuterLimits on wend or Thursday.

I also hear Demon with a Glass Hand Might be a movie soon.

I find this Interesting, according to my Cable TV Guide, 4400 will only be a One hour episode tonight, Dealing with Carl's Superstrength.

Quote
The new and Improved Carl Morrisey: Discovering he has Enhanced reflexes and Strength, a Member of the 4400 wages a one-man war against crime.

Very cool, just wish it was 2 hours instead.

Edit: Here's a link to the song the play throught the show. It's called worry about you. http://www.towerrecords.com/product.aspx?pfid=2523328

I'm Pumped about this. I like Carl already. Watching him take those two Gang Members down rocked.

Decent episode.  So the 4400 have been returned with powers to do something good?  In three more weeks we'll know for sure.

Curiouser and curiouser.  So now we know what happened to Eric and Shawn.  Abductus Interuptus.

At least we didn't have to wait until the final episode for him to be healed.

Is it just me, or do a lot of these people have special abilities we've seen in other movies?

Orson's power = "Carrie"

Vigilante's power = "The Matrix"

Serial killer's power = "Star Wars," if Darth Vader or the Emperor was pulling a mind trick

The kid's power = "Minority Report" (Ironically, last night's "Dead Zone" episode sounded like it could have come from that movie)

"Chaos Theory, Part II" now available.

When you think about it.  How many original super powers can there be?  I don't know about the serial killers power being tied to Star Wars.  It was on an X File though.  "Pusher".

Was the Dead Zone any good?  We didn't catch it yet.  TiVo is still sitting on it.

Normal Standalone TiVo that you can use with any input source can record one input at a time.

The DirecTiVo which has an integrated Satellite tuner with it can record two streams at once.  The truly great thing about the integrated sat/Tivo tuner is that it records the digital stream to the disk so you've got a true copy of the signal, no degredation.  Stand-alone TiVo's have Mpeg encoders and decoders integrated so that you have degredation and have to deal with varying picture qualities.

I wonder If Digital Cable Versions Can do the same thing as a SatTivo. I have seen my Cable company offer these alot in the last month or so.
