I think the hyperdrive engines they have were scavenged from other Go'auld ships.  I don't believe they can make their own.

I'm glad the Asgaard now have a weapon they can use against the replicators with deadly efficiency.

Actually, they made the hyperdrive in the X-303 themselves,along with the rest of the ship, using the naquadria that Jonas Quinn brought with him at the end of season 5 in Meridian. They couldn't get it to wrk very well until the Prometheus was taken by the NID who had a goa-uld to help in the episode Pomettheus. Even then they blew the engines and almost got stranded for a while in a later episode Momento.
