Bisquik, FuryHawk, Kruge and all the EAW ships at sea,
I labored long and hard trying to figure out a way to get online with just EAW.
Like Bisquik, I just started playing SFC:EAW a few months ago (Bisquik hooked me up). Like him and everyone else, I was having problems with the firewall thing. Then I had some linguine for lunch, and had an REVELATION!
Here is my file copy of what I typed in to the WonServerSetup:
Name="ServerSetup"
[Settings]
SingleThreaded = 1
CreateCentralSwitch = 0
SinglePlayer = 0
BlockSize = 10000 // How many micro-seconds to spend on server side stuff before doing page flip
DelayMultiple = 1.0 // What multiple of time to wait before going back to server side stuff
PacketQueLimit = 75 // What
[RTI]
//IPAddr = "0.0.0.0:1234"
IPAddr = "209.69.154.13:2601"
[CentralSwitchSetup]
Listen = 0
[WONDirectoryServer]
ServerPath = "/StarFleetCommand2/Game/Release"
[WONDirectoryServer/Addresses]
0 = "63.101.60.125:15101"
//0 = "sfc2.west.won.net:15101"
//1 = "sfc2.central.won.net:15101"
//2 = "sfc2.east.won.net:15101"
[Clients]
ChatClient = 1
SecurityClient = 1

Notice the 'space' in between the numbers, equal sign and the quotes. I got the idea from thinking about how I would type the commands in DOS, and also from the first line (which has the spaces). Well, I typed it in, and I got ONLINE, man!
WOW!!! Played some missions, expanded Romulan space a little, and even purchased a new ship (an R-K9RH).
If this is too confusing, just cut/copy/paste what I have in this message, and let me know if it works.
Peace out,
Taraq
