I found this while searching the internet for fan-made SFB material about the Miranda class. It looks like an old D2 rant page :P What I find intriguing is the links to the old old Taldren forums contained within ;D

Musashi (sp).
A fellow with great love for Dagger, a (notorious) fellow from the "old days".
I believe Mu still resides on the Hot and Spicy forum.

Mu is not the Musashi from OT.

Mu is one of the best Federation pilots who ever played the game

Ooops, sorry, thought they were the same. Anyone who disliked Dagger as much as he did is ok in my books.

It was written by one of the better Fed pilots  back in the day when the D2 was just a little more wild and crazy(Them were the days...no OOB or come to think of it not many rules either).
After reading his site again it dawned on me that I have been playing the freaken game for over 3 years.

Looking at a larger-scale server like Artic's old server or Canada West and seeing a HUGE number of Feds on who are steadily losing ground while the ISC takes root in their living room makes the case clear.

My God, that was so long ago...yet I remember it so well. Those first servers was the best and none since have compared to the thrill when the D2 was brand-spanking new and hardly worked. But when it worked, OH BOY! Awesome times...

And today's flame wars pale in comparison.... sigh.... I miss Dagger, it was like kicking a puppy, but more satisfying...
(just joking about kicking the puppy... wouldn't have had to explain that in the old days... we were rough tough d2'ers dammit!)

I see you've found www.ranter.net/mu - AKA Mu's website. The rants are from about the time of CW2 and CW3. Dagger was pulling the listed crap against us at the time.

All that and he was a composer too... sigh... Where have all the great ones gone.

BTW I just found an old movie clip I had of Ssazzix in the OLD Gorn BCH (You know the one that could move at speed 27.5 when holding all torps with no energy for anything else) whooping up on a a couple of Fed BCFs with me in a lamespy game.

Man I miss those days.

Who's Dagger?

You don't remember?

Dagger: "Sharp and always to the point"

A bit of a mouthy young whippersnapper as I recall. Liked to stir the pot... around three years ago? Ask Cleaven... ;)
